Ambar Travel was born from a simple dream: to share the incredible beauty and rich culture of Indonesia with travelers from around the world. Founded in 2008 by Ahmad Sutanto, a passionate Indonesian travel enthusiast, our company started as a small local guiding service in Yogyakarta.
What began with weekend temple tours has grown into one of Indonesia's most trusted travel companies, specializing in authentic cultural experiences, thrilling adventures, and meaningful connections between travelers and local communities.
